A Different Aproach

 A different approach:

Main idea: Creating breathing spaces in a home allows inspiration to happen.

There is something about a home that makes it special; from colors and furniture to decorations and placements.

But, as you may know, it is not just choosing any random colors, furniture or decorations and putting them anywhere.

Have you ever felt the urge of throwing away things because you feel that they are cluttering your thinking space?

Whether your answer is yes or no, this “thing” that makes some people feel saturated comes down to two simple yet powerful words… “Negative Spaces”.

A very few have heard the term negative spaces, and although the term used is “negative”, what it really means is “enough room to let you breathe”

Here’s a quick contrast of what “negative spaces” makes us feel.

Imagine yourself in a park; you are surrounded by two hundred people…

Maybe there is a carnival happening,

You can hear people talking, machines rolling and maybe some air horns from the carnival vendors.

At first you may be able to tolerate the noises, but as time passes you are starting to feel tired and overwhelmed…

So overwhelmed that you are now starting to feel this “urge” of leaving this place.

But then… you snap your fingers and all of the sudden…

Everything disappears,

You hear the wind blowing, the trees talking and the birds chirping.

Such a peaceful scenery.

This same serene scenery can be achieved by leaving some negative spaces in your own home.

The following images can give you some inspirational ideas for you to possibly achieve breathing spaces and feel inspired everyday in your home.

*Small apartment combined with light colors and enough space to make it feel spacious.

*Forest home featuring glazed walls and a touch of green nature to keep the connection

*Two lofts that set an example of what placement can do. Small = Big

*A home that lets light and air flow by using lighter tones even on the decorations

*White colors to enhance negative spaces complemented with light earthy tones

*Minimal bedroom and decorations that create a serene environment. Sleep peacefully and wake up energetic.
